Tsuruga-jo. Plenty of history here in Aizu-Wakamatsu about the end of the feudal era. Almost so much it’s too long to write here.


From the Castle, you can see past the white pole that bisects the area of the mountain (called ‘Iimoriyama’)
From the mountain, the place on the mountain where young boys (samurai) who killed themselves when they saw the castle on fire/being attacked.
